Mass Sponsorship
It costs about $3000 - $4000 (depending on the Mass) to produce the Mass you hear each Sunday. The members of the Chorale volunteer their beautiful voices, but the orchestra members, soloists and conductor are all paid. To offset this major expense, the Chorale has acquired the intentions to about half the Masses we sing and offer these to our supporters.
Some generous supporters sponsor particular Masses, in memory or honor of a loved one, or to commemorate a birthday, anniversary, or death.
With a gift to the Chorale of $3500, the donor is able to name the intention of the Mass, and is recognized in the church bulletin and from the pulpit.
Available Dates & Masses
An authentic updating of sacred music can take place only in the lineage of the great tradition of the past, of Gregorian chant and sacred polyphony.
