The Chorale’s 43rd Season opens Oct. 9th, w/ Kleine Orgelsolomesse

The Kleine Orgelsolomesse was composed by Haydn between 1775 & 1778. It is titled "Missa Brevis Sancti Joannis de Deo", honoring Saint John of God, the Spanish founder and patron saint of the Brothers Hospitaller. The obbligato organ solo in the Benedictus is the highlight that gave this Mass its nickname.
