Deacon Allen, ordained to the Diaconate of the St. Paul and Minneapolis Archdiocese in September of 2000, has been assigned to The Church of Saint Agnes since 2006. He is convert from the Church of England and lived in Japan with his parents while they were involved in missionary work. Because of his Law Degree from the University of Minnesota, he has served on the Marriage Tribunal since 2002 and also has worked for Minnesota House of Representatives as a researcher in tax and local government issues. His interests include walking, G. K. Chesterton and local micro-breweries.
Brenda Longman, our new Treasurer, has been a member of this parish since 2016. She and her family were drawn to the Church of Saint Agnes by the Latin liturgy and its sacred music of the 10:00 Sunday High Mass. With a degree in Accounting from Bemidji State University, she qualified as a Certified Public Accountant in 1986 and began a career at the Trammell Crow Company and later at KPMG as Senior Manager. She currently supervises the servers at the 10:00 a.m. High Mass on Sunday. This includes her son, Anthony who is the Thurifer.
We welcome these individuals for their talents, experience and dedication.
